Refit and Refresh with Bausch Towers

Founded by Charlie Bausch in 1977, Bausch Towers has represented the pinnacle of excellence in sportfishing tower design and fabrication for over four decades. Charlie’s son, Tim, took over the helm in 1999 after honing his skills for many years under his father’s watchful eyes. In 2001, Tim moved the operation to a sprawling 63-acre marine service facility located on the Okeechobee Waterway in Stuart, Florida. The Stuart operation encompasses a covered yacht port for the installation of electronics and accessories, accommodating vessels up to 120 feet in length with a 52-foot clearance.

Tim Bausch

President

You could say that Tim Bausch was born into the marine tower business. While in high school, he worked after school and weekends in his father’s boatyard and tower fabricating shop. In a few short years, he went from scraping and painting bottoms to learning all aspects of the marine service industry. After high school, Tim enrolled in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. His ambition was to learn how to work on airplanes and then convert this knowledge to the marine manufacturing and service industry. Upon his return to Port Salerno, Tim rejoined the family business with a goal to expand the tower business. For over two decades, Tim has overseen the growth and expansion of Bausch Towers and their product offerings, witnessing his towers venturing off to oceans spanning the globe.
